17 minutes, and one question we read before your CV
No cover letter. This form is four short sections, and the one that matters most is the third: a campaign-day situation on a large online store, and we want to see how you'd handle it. At the end you upload your CV, because we present the team's CVs to the client who owns the project.

Full Stack Developer (Mobile)
We're looking for a full stack developer to join the tech team behind a large online store in Saudi Arabia — a website and a mobile app in Arabic and English, taking thousands of orders with campaigns and offers running constantly. You'll work on the front end, the back end and the integrations with payment gateways and internal systems, and you'll be the first owner of the mobile app. This role is tied to a new project expected to start in November 2026, and the appointment is confirmed once the project is approved.
What you'll do
- Build new features on the website and the app from ready designs and specifications.
- Fix bugs across every page of the store: home, categories, product page, cart, checkout, customer accounts and order tracking.
- Implement offer mechanics: discount codes, markdowns, bundle offers, and offers with a set start and end time.
- Follow up on failed payments and checkout-page problems, and fix them.
- Monitor order, stock and price sync with the internal system, and resolve any mismatch.
- Apply price changes exactly on schedule, including changes that start at midnight.
- Take part in the on-call rotation and respond to incidents within the agreed times.
- Review colleagues' code and help estimate the time each task needs.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience.
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Hands-on React experience; Remix preferred, Next.js experience accepted.
- Node.js experience.
- MongoDB experience: data modelling, indexes and aggregation queries.
- Integrating online payment gateways, handling the automated notifications they send, and refunds and cancellations.
- Connecting systems through APIs and scheduled jobs.
- Strong Git, and working with code review.
- Experience with React Native or Flutter, publishing apps through App Store Connect and Google Play Console, and using Firebase for notifications and crash reporting.
Nice to have
- PHP and Laravel experience.
- Experience integrating Tabby and Tamara.
- Experience with a Saudi payment gateway that supports mada and Apple Pay.
- Experience integrating SAP, Oracle or any other ERP system.
- Experience with Redis and job queues.
- Writing automated tests.
Working conditions
- Full time and dedicated to a single long-term project, on an initial 12-month contract that can be renewed.
- Fully remote, from any country, on Saudi time.
- Fluent Arabic and English, reading and writing.
- Able to review Arabic and English pages and catch right-to-left layout problems.
- Previous experience on a live online store with electronic payments, offers and campaigns — not only brochure sites.
- Ready to work in shifts on Saudi time, Sunday to Thursday, and to take part in the emergency on-call rotation on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Ready for a heavier workload in the big campaign seasons — Ramadan, Eid, National Day, White Friday and the summer season — with advance notice.
- Committed to confidentiality and to protecting customer data, signing in to systems with a personal account and two-factor authentication.
- Working from a ticketing system such as Jira and documenting everything you deliver.
- Agreeing to your CV being shared with the client, and to a possible interview by the client.
- Available to start during November 2026.
Yes. It's fully remote, from any country, on Saudi time (GMT+3).
Sunday to Thursday in shifts, with an emergency on-call rotation on Fridays and Saturdays. Full stack developers are spread across the early, afternoon and evening shifts, rotating weekly. The final rota is confirmed before you start.
The start is during November 2026, on an initial 12-month contract that can be renewed. The role is tied to a new project, and the appointment is confirmed once the project is approved.
Yes. We present the team members' CVs, by name, to the client who owns the project, and the client may ask to interview a candidate. That's why the application form asks for your consent, and we don't share your CV without it.
We don't list the salary in the posting; it's agreed at the interview. The application form asks for the monthly salary you expect.
4 to 6 years, with React, Node.js and React Native or Flutter, plus previous experience on a live online store with electronic payments, offers and campaigns — not only brochure sites.
You'll get a written answer by email within five working days of applying, yes or no.
