17 minutes, and one question we read before your CV
No cover letter. This form is four short sections, and the one that matters most is the third: a campaign-day situation on a large online store, and we want to see how you'd handle it. At the end you upload your CV, because we present the team's CVs to the client who owns the project.

UI/UX Engineer
We're looking for a UI/UX engineer for a large online store in Saudi Arabia. The brand identity and core designs come from the client's team; your job is to complete them, turn them into a consistent component system, and improve the buying experience with measurable results. This role is tied to a new project expected to start in November 2026, and the appointment is confirmed once the project is approved.
What you'll do
- Take the client team's designs, complete them and prepare them for build.
- Build a consistent component system in Figma for the website and the app.
- Analyse the checkout journey and propose improvements that raise the conversion rate.
- Design A/B tests between two versions of a page.
- Review pages after they're built and make sure they match the design in Arabic and English.
- Help write front-end code when needed.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience.
- Strong Figma: components, design systems and interactive prototypes.
- Experience designing online stores and checkout journeys.
- Designing in Arabic and English, with an understanding of Arabic typefaces.
- Designing apps to Apple's and Google's guidelines.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; Tailwind CSS preferred.
- Reading Google Analytics data and visitor session recordings.
- A portfolio that includes online stores.
Nice to have
- Experience with React.
- Accessibility standards for people with disabilities.
- A record, backed by numbers, of raising conversion rates.
- Experience with Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar.
Working conditions
- Full time and dedicated to a single long-term project, on an initial 12-month contract that can be renewed.
- Fully remote, from any country, on Saudi time.
- Fluent Arabic and English, reading and writing.
- Able to review Arabic and English pages and catch right-to-left layout problems.
- Previous experience on a live online store with electronic payments, offers and campaigns — not only brochure sites.
- Ready to work in shifts on Saudi time, Sunday to Thursday, and to take part in the emergency on-call rotation on Fridays and Saturdays.
- Ready for a heavier workload in the big campaign seasons — Ramadan, Eid, National Day, White Friday and the summer season — with advance notice.
- Committed to confidentiality and to protecting customer data, signing in to systems with a personal account and two-factor authentication.
- Working from a ticketing system such as Jira and documenting everything you deliver.
- Agreeing to your CV being shared with the client, and to a possible interview by the client.
- Available to start during November 2026.
Yes. It's fully remote, from any country, on Saudi time (GMT+3).
Sunday to Thursday in shifts, with an emergency on-call rotation on Fridays and Saturdays. You work the main daytime shift. The final rota is confirmed before you start.
The start is during November 2026, on an initial 12-month contract that can be renewed. The role is tied to a new project, and the appointment is confirmed once the project is approved.
Yes. We present the team members' CVs, by name, to the client who owns the project, and the client may ask to interview a candidate. That's why the application form asks for your consent, and we don't share your CV without it.
We don't list the salary in the posting; it's agreed at the interview. The application form asks for the monthly salary you expect.
3 to 5 years, with strong Figma and a portfolio that includes online stores, plus previous experience on a live online store with electronic payments, offers and campaigns — not only brochure sites.
You'll get a written answer by email within five working days of applying, yes or no.
