About the role

Sales Partner (Commission-Based)

Taqweed is a design and development agency working with companies in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf on websites, brand identities, apps and custom platforms. We're looking for sales partners who know the market and know the people who make decisions in it. You open the door and follow the client through to a signed contract; we handle the technical estimate, the proposal, the build and the handover. You earn a commission of up to 20% of every project that comes through you.

How your commission works

There is no fixed salary in this role. You earn a percentage of the value of each project contracted through you, up to 20%. How it's calculated and paid is explained in the interview, before you start.

What you'll do

  • Identify companies that need a website, an identity or an app — Saudi Arabia first, then the Gulf.
  • Open the first conversation and understand the client's need, timing and rough budget.
  • Set up a meeting between the client and our team to define the scope.
  • Follow the client up after the proposal, through to a signed contract.

Who this partnership suits

  • Experience selling services to businesses, or direct relationships with decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of the Saudi market; being based in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
  • Clear written and spoken Arabic; English is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and follow clients up without daily supervision.

What you can show the client

You won't be starting from nothing. You'll have what convinces a client before the first meeting:

The work is remote, with a preference for people based in Saudi Arabia or who know its market well. We read applications from other countries too.

Your sales experience

We want to know what you've sold, to whom, and where your relationships are. Real numbers matter more to us than job titles.

How you sell

Scenario question — the main one

A prospect wants "a quick quote" before any meeting

A situation that comes up constantly when selling services to companies. Read it slowly, and answer as you'd genuinely act.

You've reached the marketing manager of a real-estate developer in Riyadh. During the conversation, three things become clear:

  1. The company's current site is slow on mobile and doesn't show up when people search for its projects.
  2. They launch a new residential project in three months and haven't started any digital preparation for it.
  3. The manager says: "Our site does the job, and we see no reason to change it now."

Then he asks you to send a quick quote over WhatsApp, and says he'll compare it with two others.

Write two things: (a) how you'd respond to the request for a quote, and why? (b) the message you'd send him right now, word for word.

Your answer150 clear words beat 400 repetitive ones.0 / 250
Your first message80 words at most — a short first message is the one that gets read.0 / 80

Write the first message you'd send over WhatsApp or LinkedIn to the owner of a three-branch restaurant chain in Jeddah with an active Instagram account and no website. Write it word for word, in 80 words or fewer.

Which is closest to how you sell?

There is no right answer here. What matters is the line underneath.

Why that one?

We read this line more closely than the choice above it.

Tell us about a deal you lost, and why you think you lost it40 to 80 words.0 / 80

What we're actually measuring

  • Understanding: whether you tried to understand the client's need before offering anything
  • Relevance: whether you tied your words to what matters to him — the new project and its date
  • Next step: whether your message ends with a clear, time-bound next step
  • Honesty: whether you avoided promising a price or a timeline before anyone knows the scope

What we're not

  • Spelling and grammar — write the way you normally write
  • Marketing language — plain words score better here
  • Length — 150 clear words beat 400 repetitive ones
  • "The right answer" — there isn't one, and more than one approach is defensible

No. This role pays commission only: up to 20% of the value of each project contracted through you.

The work is fully remote, with a preference for people based in Saudi Arabia or who know its market well. We read applications from other countries too.

No. You need to understand what a client needs and recognise when they need a website, an identity or an app. The technical estimate, the proposal and the build are Taqweed's job.

There are no set hours. You organise your own time, and what you earn depends on the projects you close, not on the hours you put in.

Yes — the work is flexible and has no fixed schedule. The form asks how many hours a week you can give it, so we know how to start with you.

Brand identity design, UI/UX design, custom apps and business systems, WordPress websites, campaign graphics, and website maintenance after launch — plus ready-made website templates.

You'll get a written answer by email within five working days of applying, yes or no.
